    Procedural question - is it too late to do a deal? Can a player, or their lawyer on their behalf, walk in today - plead guilty and ask for a lesser penalty? Or do they just have to wait until it's all heard and cop whatever the ruling is??

    Surely ASADA will hesitate to go ahead with the SCN's until the appeal is heard. IF, and it's a very big IF, Hird wins the appeal and ASADA has progressed things they would be massive danger of being taken straight to court by the players This is a terrible development for the players imo

    Hoping Essendon come out and say they won't appeal. Surely it's in everyone's interests, especially the players to get things moving - if they do end up with bans they'd want them to start ASAP Biggest question for me now is will ASADA add the evidence to the SCN's or just leave them as is???
