    Review Dogs Beat Bombers

Sanders made a lot of poor decisions. The stats show he played a dominant role, but at the game it's not how it looked. Freijah had a pretty disappointing game too. In all fairness, not many genuinely played well. Bont was Bont, but even he made some poor choices, dishing off when shots on...

Autopsy Round 23, 2025: Positives and Negatives vs Western Bulldogs

Excuse the input from a Doggies supporter. Just watched the reply, can't add a whole heap of positivity I'm sorry, but f me, Ginbey was fun to watch. First game I've seen him play, you've got ripper there!! Best wishes for a better 2026.

Review Dees v Dogs: the Good, Bad, Ugly and Fugly

Commiserations on the loss. Was super tentative coming into the game as no matter where we both are on the ladder, the Dee's always seem to match up well (especially when Lever & May are in). When the pressure is really on, the Dogs in previous years have let games slip, so TDLR incredibly...

    Autopsy AFL 2025 Rd 18 - Dogs v Crows - Sat July 12th 1:20pm AEST (Marvel Stadium)

Whoever wins will come with a big statement. Both teams have played some excellent footy and at their best will shape the finals. A loss to the Dogs and they'll be fighting to hold onto a spot in the 8, a loss to Adelaide and they'll lose their grip on the top 4. High stakes game. Worthy...

Hypothetical - Sam Darcy or Nick Daicos

Why? Darcy enjoys playing in the ruck, and is a pretty handy option to relieve English... who also is a decent chop out for Darcy in the forward line. Win-win.

Welcome to the Bulldogs Joel Freijah

Had a few "quiet weeks" a month or so ago, but what a year Freijah has had so far. Tonight was another big step forward, what a talent!!

Hypothetical - Sam Darcy or Nick Daicos

Love seeing Bont getting the recognition from the greater footy community. Has been an absolute joy watching him up close. Does it all, does it hard and does it fair. Anyone being compared to him must be bloody good.

Damn there's a lot of defensive Cats supporters in here.

    Autopsy AFL 2025 Round 10 - Dogs v Bombers - Sat May 17th 7:35pm AEST (Marvel)

Pretty tough on Dale. Not sure if you've spent much time watching the Dogs, but he's one of the Dogs most influential and crucial players. Finds the ball at will and uses it better than almost any in the comp. If he was playing for a "big" club, he'd be lauded far more than he already is.

Autopsy AFL 2023 Round 1 - Demons v Dogs Sat March 18th 7:25pm AEDT (MCG)

Theres almost an unwritten rule that traded in players get an early call up, so not surprised to see Oskar playing... that said, he was actually pretty good in the NM praccy match. Fritsch and May have dominated us in a recent years. To have them out is a huge loss for Melbourne and I see it...

Autopsy AFL 2022 Round 15 - Dogs v Hawks Fri June 24th 7pm EST (Marvel)

Plus the many other quotes... 10 out of 10 for biggest sooky la la tonight! After reading through this entire thread, it is clearly poorer for your so called input. Are you generally this dull, or just when it comes to the Bulldogs?

WCE peak Judd was better than peak GAJ and peak Dustin Martin

At his peak, I don't think I've seen a more dominant/dynamic midfielder. I hate everything non Bulldogs, but I still recall on a few occasions standing and clapping Judd in pure awe. That said, he's no Bont :-D

Retired #43: Anthony "Walla" McDonald-Tipungwuti - Wins a flag with the Mildura Imperials

My deepest commiserations to you all for losing such an exciting, talented and charismatic fella, well before anyone had ever hoped or expected. I generally have zero interest in other teams/players, but Tippa had me excited like a kid from day one. He played footy the right way and embodied...

News Luke Beveridge meltdown in post game press conference, launches an extraordinary tirade at Tom Morris, apologises

Show a single press conference when he isn't... definitely emotional this eve, but Morris is a flog.

News Luke Beveridge meltdown in post game press conference, launches an extraordinary tirade at Tom Morris, apologises

Morris is a known f(ktard and antagonist of the dogs and invited the retort with his most recent commentary. Watch any press conference, Beveridge is always very measured when he speaks.

Brownlow Brownlow Medal 2021 - Congratulations Ollie Wines 🥂

Hard to take anything you say seriously when you claim Bont was “gifted” votes. Every count has players mouth’s aghast as votes are given or not. Just ask Oliver. You’re dreaming if you believe all of Wines votes were deserved while other players votes weren’t, pfft!!

Brownlow Brownlow Medal 2021 - Congratulations Ollie Wines 🥂

Personally I was expecting Oliver to win, had a massive year. So dominant and so consistent, such a great player. Would love him at the Dogs. Walsh was awesome this year. Given the lack of Blues wins, to vote as high as he did was super impressive. Future Brownlow winner in the making. Steele...

    Gary Ayres Medal 2021

You can say the same about any award. Bont's BOG 3 Brownlow votes are far superior to any other 3 votes. How can it be structured or balanced to place more weight on such performances? Personally I think the Ayres Medal/Coaches votes method gives a good starting point.

Blah blah blah! If in fact there’s any semblance to truth to your “story”, you probably came off as someone who’d squeal running off to the footy forums in horror… which you did. Pfft!

Is this the worst Prelim final weekend ever?

Ummm, what? Pretty simple viewpoint. Dees were ultra impressive, not sure how that equates the Bulldogs performance as significantly worse, or even "boring" without it simply being a subjective viewpoint. In that case, as a Dogs supporter I was subjectively ****ing beyond excited!! And...

Remember when the AFL world chugged Aaron Naughton?

When you're such a prolific mark it's understandable, but yep, some general play goals would be great. He's super fast and nimble so kinda strange.
