    maybe at senior afl level, but in every leauge i've seen or heard of this happening (abt 6/7) the offending team loses all points scored to that stage, the offending player is removed & game continues.

    if i remember correctly jeff fenech at his peak used to average 15min for 5klm, and you dont get much fitter than a pro boxer. comparing a top level footy player to a top level track & field athlete is pointless, the much more obvious comparison would be with boxers, for example.

    too true, the worst footy judges are those that have played the game, any given saturdays radio broadcast of the afternoon game proves my point - - ex players who arent coaching should be paid off to stay quiet.
