Awesome win guys - very happy for you. Loved seeing the bombers lead dwindle and finally succumb to north who were deserved winners. I reckon you'll get over Geeeelong also...good luck!!! Go Tiges!
Is that fact Bazzar?
My sauce tells me doggies, saints and GWS have all spoken to him and are/were interested to a certain extent. Was also told that Dimma spoke to Robbie at around the half way mark of the year and told him to explore other options as he wasn't in Dimma's plans moving...
Disagree.
I have met him a number of times - probably 30-40 times. He is a mate of a mate. I find him respectful and a good bloke. He may have changed for better or worse since I last saw him (probably 3 or so years ago) but I found him to be quite level headed - unlike his bro who I also...
On Talking Tigers (the Richmond podcast with Richo, AC and Tony Greenberg), Richo mentioned the Conca situation and seemed pretty confident he'll remain a Tiger. Said he ran into him at the club this week, had a bit of a chat and got the feeling Conca is staying. Hope he's right!
Richo.
Yes, I know this thread is meant for current day players but no-one in our current side is even remotely close to the love I had/have for the famous no.12.
Of the current crop, would have to say Cotch, Morris, JR. Rance becoming a fav of mine also. Really enjoy watching him go from...
99% sure he is off to the pies. He wants them, they want him and Brisbane are happy to let him go. Reckon he'll go for the pies 3rd rounder or maybe a fringe player swap. Other melb clubs are interested also but looks like he'll be a magpie.
Lonergan to the hawks. How they get their man...
Good post mate. We are lucky to have the supporter base we have I will always consider myself lucky to follow this club, no matter what, mainly due to the tiger army and the atmosphere we create.
Our time is coming tiger fans, stay tuned...
Yarran looked quite happy at the end of the game. Must have liked the Tiges first half vs brissy today. He'll look good in the yellow and black next year. Enjoy September in Rye/Sorrento baggers.
LOL...probably the worst post I have read on here for a long, long time...back to Tassie you go MM...
Just because your hawks draw 20k odd vs the "smaller sides", don't ever put us in your boat little Mitch. You'll end up getting squashed by the TIGER.
Lukey, clearly THIS IS TIGERLAND is quite popular on both this forum and PRE. Go with the masses and use this. Not asking you mate, I'm telling you! (joke, sort of).
All the best with whatever you go for.
We have a growing number of good players, including some elite players BUT, we don't have anywhere near enough elite or even good goal savvy players. Severely lacking a Stevie J type. Will have a heavy reliance on Lids, Martin, Cotch and even Tucky to kick multiple goals each per game to beat...
Went to Richmond's Family Day today in Burnley. 100% Richmond fans there! ;)
Eastern suburbs dominated by Richmond fans...always has been. Hawthorn have decent support also, as do Collingwood and Essendon.
Someone mentioned no Richmond fans in the Eltham area? I used to run the Eltham...
The grog squad are awesome IMO. They create an atmosphere that's severely lacking at all other clubs - very unique and a massive thumbs up for mine. Love spending a quarter or two there, and nothing better after a win than chanting with them and other "general fans" who join in to make a 500+...
A.Edwards got done for drunk and disorderly, not Titch Edwards!
If your post is referring to Titch, not sure what we'll see from him in 2013 to be honest. Had a very good 2012 - seemed to improve as the year wore on and if he can hold that form and even improve, we have a genuine x-factor on...
Thanks for the info Junior. Much appreciated...
Bloody spewing about young DG...so much potential and already a KEY component to our success IMO. Will be a big loss. Hope for his and our sake he recovers and is playing on the MCG sooner rather than later...guttering news.
All we need is this Gorozidis, Toumpas or any other player with a Greek background to satisfy the hoards of Greeks who follow the Yellow & Black...with such a large Greek community in Melbourne, adding a Greek might even persuade some non footy following supporters to jump on board...
Deledio...
Awesome read on here - great thread, great stories, Go you Tiger!
Born in 75 and started following the Tiges from the age of 3 or 4 due to the influence of my oldest cousin. Entire family barring 1 cousin (who strangely switched to Fitzroy from Richmond in the early 80's) are Tigers. Have a...
You must be my twin deano! I'm 36 and first game I attended was in '83. Haven't missed many games since then and agree that I wouldn't have it any other way - well, maybe a little more success would have been nice, but seriously, when our day comes, the city of Melbourne will be turned upside...
