Yep, that was bullshit. Spain flopped all night, and the refs bought it hook, line and sinker. First it was Reyes and then it looked like Mirotic had done his ACL before he was back on the court 1 minute later.
Hey guys. I'm on a podcast that normally previews Port games, but given we're going to get absolutely reamed this week, we decided to talk the Boomers, so thought you guys might be interested. Review of the Lithuania game, preview of Serbia, discussion of medal chances and a few other hot...
Sadly not a lot, as we tend to do overseas trips in the middle of the year when the weather is a bit nicer in the Northern hemisphere. Hopefully will be get over there sometime during NBA season soon. Anyway:
1. Indiana @ LA Clippers, '93 preseason
2. Trailblazers @ Timberwolves, '04
3. Nuggets...
But if Harden has played better in those 10 games, he clearly has better claims to being MVP. Getting injured is simply bad luck. There isn't welfare in the MVP count.
If phatandphreaky was here he'd tell you to pull your head in ;)
Really? Very interesting... I emailed Simmons about it, maybe a couple of months ago, so I wonder whether or not that preceded the podcast. I tend to listen to all of the Lowe spots on the BS Report but I can't recall hearing about this. Will look into it. Cheers.
Yeah I think this shows a limitation which is also seen in the Brownlow but exacerbated here due to the sheer number of games. Chandler is extremely consistent but just hasn't nudged him way into the top 3 players each game (IMO obviously) often enough. These players are disadvantaged in this...
Here are the current team leaderboards. Hopefully the teams are updated, the trade deadline threw things out a bit.
Atlanta
Jeff Teague 61
Paul Millsap 57
Al Horford 36
Kyle Korver 24
DeMarre Carroll 14
Dennis Schroder 6
Shelvin Mack 5
Mike Scott 4

Jared Sullinger 26
Isaiah Thomas 25...
Hey guys. Been a while, years probably, since I've posted not the board, thought you might be interested in this though.
Having a decent amount of time on my hands this year, I decided how an MVP race would look if it was determined in the same way as we do the AFL Brownlow. As a result, I've...
This is a strange battle to choose IMO.
I don't see Kevin Love going anywhere and I see him getting his money in Minnesota.
The comments he quoted in the OP (i.e. leaving it to his manager) are for negotiating purposes. He's not going to publically give any ground.
Very good chance that this will be the Finals combination next year.
Should this go down, given these franchises (from a lot of people's perspectives) are wretched hives of scum and villainy, whose back have you got?
That is to say, who do you want to win, not who will win.
Simple question.
It is actually a very good league, probably behind the major European leagues - Spain, Greece, Italy - in terms of quality, so to suggest players are scraping the barrel if they come out here is just wrong, particularly when you account for the lifestyle factor.
Considering the players involved have publicly kissed and made up, acknowledging that it was simply an accident, I think the debate ends there.
Nice article on HoopData.
For what it is, basically a NBL summer league, I haven't been too disappointed by the product. Hopefully it heats up a bit when the money is on the line.
I'm sure the organizers would be pretty disappointed with the attendance, but the main focus would be on gaining some TV market which is...
Looked absolutely terrible - the Shaun Livingston of arm injuries. If it is just a disclocation as reported, its and absolute miracle.
Get well soon <3
