Umpiring was disgraceful tonight both ways but favoured hawks more. Regarding Sicily, he was absolutely putrid the last two weeks but he had 6 weeks out before....Burgoyne, Breust and Smith were worse in the finals. Senior hawthorn players were shocking the last two weeks

Melbourne have been a much better side without Hogan and Lever been out all year. Stratton, Omera and Mitchell would be hawks three most important and are 3 of their top 5 best players...Melbourne absolutely kissed on the d***...couldn't be any luckier....would be huge choke to lose this
Melbourne will win by 30+...Stratton is a big out but omera is huge. omera and Mitchell are hawthorn's only A-grade midfielders. Harmes will completely shut Mitchell out of the game. Melbourne's midfield is stacked with A-graders and their depth is far superior...they also have the best ruck in...
that was classic hawthorn of recent seasons… win a close game they had no right to win thanks to shaun burgoyne, who at 36 is still their most clutch player and top 3 player for us…i shudder to think what will happen when he retires end of next season... made a spud (jack lonie) look like peter...
Absolutely disgraceful umpiring. The worst will be when Adelaide win by under 10 points and claim they deserved to win. So typical. This is a clear example of home crowd bias and umpires winning a team a game. Such a blight on the game.

Hawthorn today will have 7 players under 50 games, with 5 of them 20 and under. Absolutely incredible that they sit two games clear on top of the ladder. That's rebuild numbers. Carlton will not get a better chance to upset Hawthorn. This is Hawthorn's worst side on paper in a very long time.
