Gold might be, but I think the Bombers still see the Bendigo corridor as their territory and have marketing campaign based on that area (eg clinics for all junior clubs). It would be seen as a hostile move for another AFL club to move in.

Out of interest, how do you justify that, I always thought the 'mortal' enemy of Port was the Swans? I remember listening to an interview with Bob Skilton saying he hated South before he joined them because he was a Port boy.
