Is it just me or do the Braves still look a little disjointed offensively this season? Acuna, Olsen and Riley have had a few good moments, but haven't reached the heights of last season, the home runs aren't coming as freely as last season, they are currently on target for around 190-200 homers...

I wouldn’t say Acuna has set the season alight yet, although he hasn’t been too bad, and a couple of "experts" have said that Riley and Olsen have been a little slow out the blocks, but Albies, Arcia and Harris have looked very good.

Terrible umpiring, shouldn't have gone to extra innings, the Cubs got a run off a foul ball and all four umpires missed it. Saying that, it did give Acuna an extra innings to create history. :D He has been on a different wavelength all season.

The Braves come back from 6-0 down against the Cubs to win 7-6 and in the process become the third team to score 300HR's in a season. The record for the most HR's in a season is 307 by the Minnesota Twins in 2019, so the Braves, with 301 have 5 games to score 7HR's to break the record.

Phillies have qualified for the finals. I was really hoping these guys would have a mega-choke and lose their last 8-9 games and fail to qualify, but it wasn’t to be. :( I’m confident the Braves can beat the other contenders in a seven-game series but the Phillies worry me.

Nice to see the Braves back to the best after a week off partying. :) Acuna hit another two homers and stole another base to move to 39HR's and 67SB's for the season. He also reached 100RBI's for the season. Amazing season.
