That’s disgraceful and you can see spectators just walking onto the ground looking for trouble even post the incident. Surely you would suspend the club for a few weeks as they appear to have no control whatsoever around that bench area.
Who is no6 for EM. Seems like a decent forward..
Coach definitely has the passion but not sure he has the contacts to recruits quality players or the profile to draw big names in. But hope he goes well as he will give it his all. How is the coaching team going as he will need help off field as well..
Tough gig at that club. The area is not inclined to young families and you even have to pay for parking during games as it’s St Kilda. Great to see them still going in todays market. Good luck to Hammer as coach. Tough gig!
What happened to Vinnie who stepped up to coach.
Hope your well buddy.
Yeah JT is a good leader I agree.
Probably was Harold as he doesn’t mind throwing abuse over the fence. But his usually watching Williamstown 😄
On the flip side playing at Port Colts back in the day wasn’t the nicest place to visit. 😜
Gee whiz bounce that’s a fair spray. Just watched it and agree no 8 did well to come in and show support but he definitely didn’t cream up PC no11. Appears PC no11 was sent off. All looked like a good old melee and mostly push and shove by the vision. Not defending either side but in the lead up...
I tend to agree in part but the club offers these players the money so it’s not really the players fault. If you can’t uphold your part then players should get out before they get stuck after June 30.
Umm very strange appointment and obviously heading to div2 now. Rumours were he got moved on from Braybrook last season 3 weeks out from finals. That’s div3 WRFL which is very low standard. Not sure he has the pulling power to rebuild a club like STKC. Watch this space.
Just read that Luke McGuane at Port Colts now. Makes them stronger. Apparently signed prior to covid but then wasn’t going to play now has changed his mind and his back at the colts.
So this would need to be paid for by the clubs. They won’t like that.
Why is it all put on the umpires? Shouldn’t clubs take responsibility for there actions? What is the coach doing when this is happening? Make the player and coach more accountable.
Accept the umpires decision and speak to...
The young umpire shouldn’t have to put up with this type of behaviour. Clubs do programs on this stuff so they should be respected.
Yes we would all prefer older mature umpires but in reality ALL leagues are struggling for umpires. Personally think they should be paid more..
Surely it’s up to the coaches to help control things along with the captain. The umpires umpire the game.
Was it due to poor umpiring by maybe not protecting the ball player? Or players causing the issues therefore get them out of your club.,
