You could pay for it yourself, as did Geelong and St Kilda 3 years ago - see http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/a/-/afl/7374888/travel-bugbear-for-dockers-eagles/ The AFL has also helped out in special circumstances. OK, previous airline, but I see no reason why the terms of the contract...
And how many times have Freo asked for charter flights to Avalon to attend finals matches in Geelong?
If the AFL want you to fly into Avalon, it will happen. Which of course they will do as the 35 minutes extra travel time will be far too much for Freo to cope with.
This much I do know.
Do you think we travelled in the cockpit of sopwith camel?
Presumably you have a copy of the contract that says that charter planes can't be used?
Or is it just 'the vibe'?
Geelong certainly has, and I think West Coast and Collingwood has, sorry I can't provide dates and flight plans, but as your bright colleague Rob pointed out, I don't run an airline.
Why dont you ask some of your member friends who aren't going if you can borrow their membership ticket?
Far more Geelong fans would miss out than Freo fans - Geelong members do not have any more rights to tickets than Freo supporters
Using last year's figures would be a misguided exercise...
