Your free kick stats are going to look terrible when you are too arrogant to think you can't be run down from behind and you throw the fullback to the ground when the ball is sailing through for a point.
Despite these kicks being paid as "holding the ball" there is no onus on the tackler to apply a proper tackle.
You can have hands around the neck, knees in the back, or they can just lie on top of you and you are still pinged for holding the ball.
Have they changed this rule?
