I bought my youngest boy...the one that likes cooking, a Kamado Joe for his 21st (ceramic egg smoker/grill). Good lord the food that comes out of it.
He has Carnivore nights when he and his mates cook up all sorts of meats. Reverse seared steaks, pork shoulders, lamb racks, brisket, wet or dry...
It gave them 2 cracks at the top order...once at the end of play and the following morning, with a new ball. They got one wicket but would have backed them selves to do better and make inroads. Oh well...Captains can look genius when they get it right and silly if they get it wrong. The Windies...
He certainly making all the right noises atm and loving test cricket. WI test cricket certainly need him and I hope he inspires others to jump aboard with him. Great to have them up and about and challenging the best going forward.
I will at some point. Money goes out faster at my joint than comes in. Would rather spend my excess on things that I enjoy...and I hate phones to be honest. My kids spend their lives looking at the dam things haha.
My crappy very old phone doesn't work well and you cannot hear people without it being on speaker. It is so embarrassing in public places. I don't take it out much anymore or answer it. The looks that people give me haha!
I dunno. We tend to bitch and moan about a lot of things cricket. But we are pretty darn successful atm so the powers to be are getting most things right.
It is a rollercoaster...with both sides having their share of getting on top. Partnership here and it is back Pakistan's way..it feels only minutes ago Australia had the momentum with those first 2 wickets.
Just goes to show that with the size and punch that happens with the bats being used...technique is less relevant than it used to be. A strong person with an amazing eye is just as important now.
No mate...never played the game. Just my off spring. Marshall played against our local team in sub district as did Warne and Fleming and probably many more (what my boy plays in when he is in Aus). My kid has played against Tillakaratne (and a few other ex Sri Lankan test players), Pucovski...
I wonder if he left Vic to play on the batter friendly pitch in SA which will probably will help with his aggressive style, although the junction is mostly a road. Maybe more opportunity. Going to be very hit or miss until he really matures, with how hard he goes.
Barry from the Hoselink is starting to really s**t me. Walks out into the glum looking backyard...the grass is dormant and roses and wisteria all cut back...clearly Winter. Buys a hose from Hoselink and boom they are playing cricket there. Roses are in bloom, everything happily flowering away...
Don' fret. They will have us living in our 20 minute cities within a few years where we will be encouraged to walk and be frowned upon to own cars. Vic govt have signed up for it.

I had a persistent cough for about a year and that's what I was told...so I took a job in a nursery and eventually it went away. I couldn't make enough coin working for someone else so I eventually started up again. It never came back luckily for me. My better half gets knocked around by...
Yes we needed more runs. I didn't particularly like the short stuff all the time as the fields set deep let them accumulate runs very easily. I would have liked to see more traditional fields at some points to encourage them to risk hitting through the fields....especially to knew batsmen...
I have a feeling it will go like this...if we can get an early breakthrough we will end up with a 60 to 100 lead. But we will get rolled for not many and they will come at us hard in the last. That's when Murph may be important. It is going to be a hell of a contest I think.
