List Mgmt. Jeremy Cameron traded to Geelong

Think you will be the flag favorites for next year when you land Cameron and Higgins and dont have to give away a senior player. We wouldnt want to have key backmen out when we play you.

Coach Shaun Grigg joins the Cats as a development coach

Agree. Teams are so tactical and cautious today when going forward that if a team is playing a direct type of game where they are prepared to invite a contest at ground level then it looks chaotic in comparison. BT and DR played in eras where that was the par so Im its odd they have coined that...

Coach Shaun Grigg joins the Cats as a development coach

Yes putting all those witches hats that you had to occassionaly run around was horrible. He would ditch Weribee for an assistant role at an AFL club in a second. Anyway just popped in to say good luck Grigga. Deserving of an AFL gig. Who knows in five years time. Since Clarkson, you just cant...

Autopsy Geelong are just an average middle of the road team (stats)

if 1980 was to repeat itself, you would need to be minor premiers and lose both of those finals to us and Collingwood. Sam Newman would also have to retire after the Preliminary final. That second one might repeat itself

Autopsy Geelong are just an average middle of the road team (stats)

Dont want the Magpies even getting that far. Not even for sentimental reasons. But i have genuine fears about them going all the way. Its very open including Geelong. You would have blokes like Danger who have that extra gear that they could find leading into September. Journos saying that we...

Autopsy Geelong are just an average middle of the road team (stats)

Didnt you feel that our game on that shitty cold day showed two very similar sides in ability. We seem to ramp it up in the final quarter but I would have thought for the majority of the game very little separated the two teams.

List Mgmt. OFFICIAL: Dangerfield + Pick 50 for Picks 9, 28 and Dean Gore

Whether you are close enough to reopening your window aside, blokes like him make going to the football more enjoyable. He will thrill people at Skilled Stadium. Massive pick up and big loss for Crows.

Game Day Round 22 - Geelong v Collingwood

first game back in a drubbing and gets 20 possies and 4 goals. The bloke is truly amazing.

Autopsy Round 21 - Geelong drew St Kilda.

The equation is five results. Beat Collingwood and Adelaide North to lose today, and to go down to Richmond and Western Bulldogs. always low probablity for five results to go your way but each of them are a real chance. My major concern would be Adelaide for you guys who are in s**t hot form...

Autopsy Round 21 - Geelong drew St Kilda.

Are you guys not going to give us and the Bulldogs any hope of knocking off North Melbourne if Fremantle can account for them today?

Preview AFL Round 19-Geelong Cats vs Sydney Swans, Saturday 8th August 7.20pm, Simonds Stadium

You have put yourself in a position where you are counting on us to win these type of games. Im stuck in that position every year and its not fun is it mate.

Preview AFL Round 6 - Richmond v Geelong, MCG, 7:40PM Saturday 4 May

Good enough though to cruise and get those type of numbers. Maybe I was just frustrated at losing in SuperCoach because my opponent had scored 320 with Gary Ablett. I wasnt sure of his role when I saw him kicking out from behinds. We should be able to throw more at you than the Bulldogs but...

Preview AFL Round 6 - Richmond v Geelong, MCG, 7:40PM Saturday 4 May

I was watching Bartell closely as he was my DC captain and I just wondered whether he cruises games that dont matter too much (rather games that teammates have in control) and saves himself for the big ones. Still picking up disposals but looked as if he was saving that top gear that he has...

Preview AFL Round 6 - Richmond v Geelong, MCG, 7:40PM Saturday 4 May

As much as we look vulnerable against the Big Tomma Hawk, I saw Harry Taylors role last night as a big concern for us. You probably wont need to do that next week with Tomma and Pods but I wonder if Chris Scott is thinking of getting Harry up forward a bit like last night. I do enjoy your...

Injury Steve Johnson - dislocated kneecap

Hoping you guys do it for Victoria. (rediculous how politicians think that feeling comes up when a Victorian team play an interstate team). Interesting to see what percentage fitness Chris Scott would require before feeling that you would be a better chance with a replacement. Going to be a...

    Paul Chapman in 2011

Dr Richmond is here to help any player out of a slump. How many goals does he need this week, 6 or 5. Any other blokes not hitting their straps as you would like them to? We are here to assist. We are not the 'big dance' but dancing with your little sister can sharpen you up.

    Ablett sets record straight

Barassi's style is very outdated and worked years back when it was a different generation of young players and the game comprised of less instructions and more 'DO SOMETHING' philosophy that required constant rockets. Look at how a guy like Ablett reacts to gently jibes from Thompson. How...

    Ablett sets record straight

You need a coach like Frawley to help you get perspective. The 'I wear my heart on my sleeve' excuse will have you asking how many times in your job, that probably pays less, you are able to solve anything by visible emotion regardless of your occupation. (If you are a Hollywood actor then I...

    Dear Gazza...

You couldnt have more ties to a club than he does. kick to kick with players from the nineties when he was a kid in the rooms before games. Father a legend at the club Dual premiership player with plenty of your best mates as teammates. That would equate to blue and white blood in...

    Geelong Vs Richmond after-match discussion

Great win guys. I worry for us as to whether you took us with a pinch of salt but were able to put the foot on the accelerator at any stage if collectively you dont put your best football out early. We were beaten by a clinical performance rather than one that required you to build up for...

    Ayres versus Thompson

Hi Guys, hope you dont have a - he barracks for another team piss off - policy since I wanted to put a question to the guys who would know. How does Thompson stack up against Ayres. (I think Thompson has been there a little longer.) You guys dont seem to rate Ayres too highly and yet you...

Im not going to troll you. You have owned us for years. Just wanted to get a feel as to whether you think Bomber should have the support down there that he has. You have a great list and while he got the performances out of you for the last two years he had plenty of time from supporters...

    Colbert's Mark

His reason was that guys like Couch didnt give him the respect he needed in order to captain the side. Would be hard with those players not behind you. Seems to be the main reason from what I understand. Do you guys buy that?
