Great news. While I love the fact that the Academy system has significantly increased drafting numbers throughout New South Wales and Queensland, I hate the fact it entitles us to an unfair advantage. The more that can be done to even the access to these kids for all teams, the better.

Has the potential and output to become the best player in the league in the not too distant future. It was a travesty that he didn't win the Rising Star last year. That reported contract will seem like a bargain quite quickly. Would trade Cameron for him in a heartbeat.

Great start, but he's played three games. Bradd Dalziell looked a Hall of Famer early in his career and didn't kick on. Probably pump the breaks a little before anointing him into something he isn't yet :thumbsu:

To be fair, our Head of Recruitment for the 2011 draft was Neville Stibbard, though Silvagni was still very much apart of the team as List Manager.

That's the point I was trying to make. 12 teams as opposed to 8. SANFL clubs also have better access to facilities. I'm not saying the upper echelon of talent is better, but I think once you account for depth and regional teams, the SANFL under 18 league has a better overall quality.
