Best of luck in 2017 guys. I see no reason why we don't square off somewhere in the finals again and might even be the GF again.
Just wanted to say the swan supporters I ran into after the game at the G were all class congratulating me. Great to see good sports
No doubt you guys missed some frees. Probably 4 clear cut ones over the course of the game. Hannebery below the knees was a free no doubt. Even if paid he is still out of the game unfortunately.
We got the rub of the green no doubt guys but it's not the reason you lost.
Can't wait for round 2...
Was wondering the other day what happened to Ablett as i though he was showing promise there for a while. Was he injury prone in the end or just didn't live up to his promise
Hard to tell who is ahead but i reckon Vez will be a better Afl footballer than Everitt. Everitt is as soft as a marshmellow and i was happy with Vez's work in a couple of games late in the season for the dogs. Needs to build his fitness over summer as he is a midfielder not a forward.
Barry barracked for the dogs as a kid so you can understand his heart lays with the dogs but he is a Swan premiership Captain so i'm sure he shares his heart between the Whitten Oval and the SCG.
Missed Mcmahon and Griffen big time and hopefully Murphy will be back very soon. If we beat Carlton (fingers crossed) this week we are still 6-4 and looking ok.
Swans will get on a big roll and will finish top 4 easily, mark my words:thumbsu:
Your brand of footy just really frustrates a team like us. No wonder you have a very good record against West Coast.
On a side note, its good to see Goodes back in form. I traded for him 2 weeks ago in the afl dreamteam as i knew he would bounce back. He was a absolute bargain pickup
Because they are so bloody GOOD!!! Great win. Today was a test for us to see if we are a top 4 team and failed miserably. You were just too disciplined for us all day. Looks like you will be playing off for yet another flag
Good luck for the rest of the year:thumbsu:
Cheers
Rob
If it is true i really feel sorry for the guy. I dont like him much as a opposition supporter as generally he has been the difference in the last few times we have played you and lost to you. But i respect him as a great player and im sad if this rumour that he has done his knee is true. :(
Isnt it funny....Roos has got you guys playing boring pathetic football and Eade has got us playing a very exciting brand of football. Roos is taking you guys down the drain with this crap.........................hes not half the coach Rocket is.
