I really rate McAdam. He has aerial and ground level threat and another avenue to goal that we need. A lot of people forget that he's a domino effect on other players. This will allow Kozzie/Fritsch to play with more freedom if McAdam gets dangerous on game day, and vica-versa.
I'm not at all. Most Dees supporters said a F2, we had loads of Crows supporters initially thinking a straight swap Petty for McAdam was a fair deal, until they read more about it in the media and on forums and realised they were being slightly one-eyed and calmed down a bit.
Glad most of them...
May grew up in Darwin you meat ball... And we gave up two first rounders for Lever. We gave up the most heftiest price for him that Crows wanted. Also, who’s to say that I’m being a hypocrite here? I share the same opinion across every player and club.
For me, the rule should be you want to...
It leaves a sour taste in my mouth when I read/hear players in contract asking to be traded and demanding their club of choice, hamstringing the club.
If you want to be traded due to personal reasons i.e. moving to another state, it should be then to that state, not a specific team. Therefore...
This is probably the worst post I have ever read.
We're not talking about 'rough around the edges' hard nut type player. We are talking about a young mans actual welfare. Someone that is on a slippery slope to spiral further into a worse emotional state that god knows what could eventuate.
We...
Success and being one of the best mids in the game clearly has gone to his head and probably has a god complex. People like that need a reality check sometimes. Oliver isn't a stand-up humble citizen like the likes of Pendlebury unfortunately.
Petty (inj), Van Rooyen (suspended), Fristch (injured), Pickett, Joel Smith (sub and played back, thrown up forward too late before we realised), Melksham (injured), Petracca (had to play less fwd due to brayshaw concussion).
More like we desperately need our forwards to stay on the park, kick...
Wrong.
Someone go back and watch when Paul Roos announced Oliver winning his first BnF. He mentioned in the speech that they had to sit Oliver down and remind him about being a professional, fixing his diet, work ethic etc. Roos lauded Oliver for doing that in less than 12 months and winning...
When Gawn is thrown back, he is a massive weapon. Adds an extra intercept defender in the mix, with the opposition having to lower their eyes. Which also frees up May and Lever to cover the holes.
We struggle to move the ball up the ground. Having another ruckman as a key marketing target in...
I'd be widely expecting the following to happen:
Melbourne's 2nd and 3rd round draft picks in exchange for: Grundy and a 4th
Collingwood to pay for around for $300,000 per year
Melbourne to take remaining years and salary of his contract.
We have over invested in Oliver, Brayshaw...
This..I was holding my breath waiting for Geelong to swoop in last minute and steal Brown from us. Especially with what they are giving up for Cameron, you would think the most logical option would be a bargain price Brown and retain two first rounders to build on your youth for the future..no?
Your player kicks over 60 goals three years in a row for a team that didn't have much success during those periods... Has one bad year in an unprecedented time, was out for majority of the year with a bad knee and you think your club ships him off on the back of ONE bad year?
Carlton are after everyone. It's a throw s**t at a wall and see what sticks. Every single year we read CARLTON ARE IN THE MIX, CARLTON ARE IN THE MIX, CARLTON ARE IN THE MIX. Different year, same s**t.
If he's a restricted free agent, and Melbourne match the offer and Viney chooses to leave still, then the club must perform a trade. That's why it's called a restricted free agent?
Mate, what are you on? Just because a player went between picks 1-10, doesn't mean he can't be steak knives.
