What happens if North offer you their 2024r1 for pick 7 if Curtain is available? I am not advocating accepting the offer. Perhaps you do 7,2024r1 for 15,2024r1,2024r3. Or 7,40 for 15,17,2024r2 seems a bit more likely to happen in my view.

Looks like you should push hard to get 4, but talk to dogs to convince them to accept 6 at a lower cost than 4. Don't overpay for 4 and get a bit ripped off like you did in the megatrade last year. Your pick 6 is the key to turning 4 into 2 future firsts as well as points.

Y You could alway trade 2,13 to Fremantle for 6,8. Freo can trade 2 for 7,15 with richmond, so overall Freo get 7,13,15 . Will Briggs,Flynn both definitely be there next year? Maybe trading 2 is to bring in more potential A-Grade key position prospects.

I am not Jeremy. I have tried to convince others on Geelong board the need to trade out players or accept a salary cap dump ( to utilise the cap space in 2023,2024,2025), but to no avail. I think a bit of Chris Scott's sense of entitlement has rubbed off on some posters, not all though.

I think GWS should reject this deal as even if it seems reasonable, the talent North will have acquired will make them a destination club ( if at first you don't succeed, try and try again) for free agents, expect them to make a big push for Hopper as a free agent for 2024.
