Totally agree with all of this, and all player assessments. Toby has lacked spark all season really, not sure why he hasn’t had some midfield time to mix things up and try and get him going.

I was a big fan of what he did last year, and watch him have a huge second half, but Toby Bedford has been pretty ordinary this year. A total passenger.

I don’t buy his stats or efficiency. Easy to be efficient when a lot of disposals are from the kick outs. He’s making poor decisions. Great start Cadman.

Thought he had a few rough moments in the first half but had a good second half. I’m not sure I have him as best 22 at seasons end if everyone is fit, but what depth to have.

Not saying it is, but this is the best game I’ve personally seen Peatling play. Looks good in his extended midfield minutes tonight. So clean, good dash, good ball use. Very impressive.

I’ve liked his season and even his game tonight, but Wehr is very one sided. And he needs to be playing left wing to benefit his angles. But I’m aware there’s also Callaghan and even Kelly occasionally to fit on the wings.

Controversial one but Bedford. To me he’s doing less than Thomas and, incredibly small sample size, but Jones on this display. But given they’re both youngsters I expect them to fade and Bedford to return at some stage.

I’m not sure Cadman learns anything in the VFL though. I’m not saying he’s too good for that level, but we’re seeing enough improvements in his game to keep him in the seniors. He still fades out of games for too long, but he’s improving all facets of his game.

I actually think Cadman has looked okay, he’s got into good positions, I think the delivery has let him down on a few ocassions.

Oh absolutely! Love having him on the list, you need depth. And he could become a lot more than that. A great fist just now.

Beautiful goal! Jones the goal assist, XO with a great snap. I’ve noticed he’s a pretty good snap, less time to think, when I think that’s his problem half the time.

I like Aleer’s upside but he is very reactionary. He’ll need a lot of time because to me he’s a little way off. But maybe he’ll come on quicker than I think.

The defensive smalls. How good are they at actually defending? Having my doubts at the moment.

Harvey Thomas is seriously impressive.

The kick was poor and needs work, but man that burst and run and carry from Callaghan was outstanding.
