In the then VFL's defense, the plan was for the members stand to go all around the ground and public transport directly to the ground. The Grand Final would be played there as well. The capacity would have been 150000 Politics got involved and it never happened.
I liked Moorabbin. The Saints supporters were extremely passionate considering they didn't have much to cheer about from the 80s till it closed.
I hated going to Carlton after they built that new stand.
Can add a couple to the list
AT&T Park - San Francisco - Baseball - Giants v Blue Jays.
Oracle Arena - Oakland - Basketball - Game 5 of the Warriors v Portland Series.
The Southern Football Leagues headquarters are there. It's a strange ground, Located in a side street. It was a ground that I went to a fair bit when I was a kid as it was close to home.
The Saints supporters were feral. They always had the place rocking though. If the Saints we getting close...

It was. I sat in the top of that old members stand a few times and the players were like ants. The new stand at the G is a long way up but the way it's built compared to VFL Park, VFL Park went away from the surface while the G goes up.
I've never heard a louder crowd anywhere than the night Australia beat Uruguay to qualify for the world cup.
Went to a couple of State of Origin games there as well when I lived In Sydney.
The stadium is great when full.
