Went to the written oval yesterday and watched Geelong v Adelaide, two key issues in the womens game:
- Overhead/ general marking; and
- Ability to pick the ball up on the run/ in a contest.

The issue is the amount of 'dead' time within games. From what I've seen theres too much time where the ball sits in one part of the ground and just doesnt move. it resembles under 10/12's footy.
Where do clubs/ AFL expect the monetary returns to come for this league. I get that putting on certain exhibition games is a great spectacle but throwing all this money into a fully fledged league seems idiotic with some participating clubs already under financial duress. Even looking in the...
