Very true.......but I guess what I mean is that handpassing, marking and kicking are more refined skills in AFL and are constantly performed throughout an match, often done at speed and under pressure.....tackling and throwing the ball is the only constant in rugby....the latter not as...
I guess the skill set of AFL is far more demanding than rugby union.....plus the running aspect as well......you got to hand it to the AB side, they just keep delivering regardless on who is in and out of the team...
