Curnow can be for sure. McKay would kick more goals over his career without Charlie there I suspect, but the net result of both is better than them individually. We haven't seen the best of them as a duo yet
In a dull grand final, his story and the performance he backed it up with was the absolute highlight. Loved seeing him kick that goal and everyone get around him, lovely moment

There wont be much in it.
Collingwood seem certain.
Geelong seem likely.
Fremantle would be next for mine.
Then 4th spot could go to Hawthorn, Carlton, Essendon, Bulldogs, will be very tight I expect. Not writing off Sydney either. Wont be much in it from 2nd to 8th I'd imagine.
Excellent summary :thumbsu:
Just to add to that Brisbane game that we weren't all that far off, J Brown played an amazing game, people even suggested it was one of his best. Without Judd, some terrible kicking for goal and being at the Gabba, we did ok. Not an excuse for losing, but we showed...
Well done to Hurley.
Hopefully the AFL look towards good efforts in general from first year players when selecting a Rising Star nomination, not just the ready made midfielders that can step easily.
Dream Team scores are not necessarily the best indication of who are the best youngsters...
Will he nominate a club he wants to play for, or let all the Victorian teams bid away?
Depending on these things, Freo will get 2 very different packages in return IMO.
Still too early to call that one. Obviously Selwood is a gun, but KPP's take far longer than midfielders to come on. I'm not suggesting he'll be better, I just don't think it should be considered for a couple of years...
Who was playing then that became a star that everyone overlooked?
I can think of Fevola, The Judd/Hodge thread hadn't happened, can anyone think of future stars that were on lists then?
A agree, one of things that annoys me most about Big Footy, is that people are very impatient with the development of players, and so many people seem to think that all players should take the same amount of time, where in reality, KKP are going to take much longer to develop.
Right now, Selwood for me is better. However, I am very pleased that we got Gibbs, I think that in a year or 2, Gibbs will be better. I have a feeling both will be labeled elite in their prime, but I honestly believe that Gibbs will be the pick of the draft.
Please correct me if I dreamed this or something, but I have a vague memory of somebody telling me a quote years ago from Jordan, who when asked what sport he would have been best at (apart form basketball) he said he would have dominated playing CHF in the AFL?
I couldn't find it anywhere on...
If Kreuzer plays consistently well for another couple of weeks then he'll get one. They seem happy to award it for consistency.
Ibbotson looks great, should get it this week:thumbsu:
