Incredibly unlucky not to have won an All-Australian, especially in 2002 when Pavlich won full back selection when I don't think he even played there all season if I remember correctly. He certainly will be missed.

He was a great player and I appreciate the fact that he realises that he reached that point where he's thinking beyond football and decided to move on. Better that than going on too long when your heart maybe isn't in it. Hard to replace.

As long as we have a season without any off-field drama, I'd be fairly happy. Having said that I think we'll surprise a few teams next season.

I think he will probably retire although I think he'd probably still be a useful player next season. His leadership will be hard to replace although he doesn't have anything left to prove and so should go out on his own terms.
