I am not sure if anyone has read the books or if the TV show has diverged but him being able to somehow crawl out of these situations continually after 3 is a bit absurd.
Season 2 was garbage. The middle (and start) episodes just were so dry and nothing went on. Its so far fetched to think he just keeps getting away with these things too.
Really enjoyed the season.
Favourite characters (best to worst): quintic, keith, gavin, joyce, becky, jana.
Nothings going to beat SHH but this is still a very quality show.
There are a few unsolved things. The 100k from the deal and the book deal of all their stories to be distributed. But i can easily accept and understand if they dont want to make a third.
in my opinion lilley used to pride himself on pushing the boundaries of tv and what can and can't be presented in terms of stereotypes, race etc. This has began to come bland and currently all that is appealing is seeing her miserably fail because she deserves it.
he just seems to be flogging the same horse i.e. style of comedy. it worked perfectly for a bit and we all loved it, but now it just doesnt have the same effect.
i am trying to get in to this radio station, it does have some good content.... but gosh they have some advertisements. everything is seemingly sponsored by something or ads are being played every 10 minutes.
didn't rate it too highly. they really exacerbated the australian accents and the story line was awfully predictable. were some good effects but wasnt overly exciting. 6/10
i read today they are planning to appeal to the older audience. there are already channels like 7two, a bit of content on ABC2 etc that caters for this. what they need to do is imo get some good american tv shows. everyone knows there is a copious amount of good tv shows from there that would...
the channel needs to change and change quickly or else it is destined for failure. it seems to rest too much on its laurels with it flogging its 'good' shows but still having so much crap on.
i have a view that everyone except for barney and maybe robin has run there course in the show. i know its revolved around meeting teds mother but i am finding ted dry, lilley no use and marshall still okay. its good to get a few laughs from barney each week but some of the characters have run...
the fta brigade has been poorly argued in this thread, but i am seeing both sides of the argument. Some would argue that having to pay for additional games irrespective of the passion you share for afl is a bit unfair. It's sixty a month but if it is really too steep for that individual they can...
The cartoons basically raised me through childhood
Arthur, Franklin and many others i forget were absolute gold. i recently looked at the abc line up and it its absolute garbage now with the standard of cartoons
anybody else have fond shows or memories of this great time for tv
