I haven’t finished it yet but it looks good. Reacher’s size is a factor so often in the books and I’m glad they acknowledged that.
There should be enough source material for another 20 series.
I’ve been working my way through this and really enjoying it.
Are there any footy fans on the writing team? We usually watch with subtitles on and I thought the subtitle person was having fun with unnamed characters, but these names are all in the credits. These screenshots are taken within...
I watched the UK series “Hard Sun” recently and couldn’t believe that the main cop who was all ”yes guv’nor” was the same guy who played the all American kid in ”21”.
No.
Got four questions right and I wasn't going to get back if I passed.
The winner had passed on the first or second question and just got back in the seat for one question He won 50k for knowing about Wreck it Ralph.
I was on tonight but none of you turned up.
It was edited more than I realized, or at least I was. At least four things I spoke about with Eddie weren't shown.
Three books. At the pace they're going it looks like they're doing all three in the 10 episodes.
I enjoyed the books but some things weren't explained very well and I don't see that they're doing any better on the TV.
Good cast.
One of the contestants in another episode had a few family members in the audience. Including one who wore a Collingwood cap and did nothing to dispel the stereotype. I don't know if he had any interaction with Eddie but you really only see Eddie for the 25 minutes that the episode is being taped.
Of all the things I signed I don't think any of them were confidentiality. They never mention that other than to say invite all your friends around to watch the episode and it will be more fun if you don't tell them how it ends. But I'll take out the references to specific results.
BTW. You're...
I was on yesterday. At least my episode was filmed.
I reckon I did the online thing in November.
The audition was in January. Quite a few oldies in there who were trying to get noticed by being "funny" and laughing very loudly at the joke answers. I'm sure most of you would classify me as an...
Is anyone else getting Foxtel through Telstra?
I had essentials plus movies (dropped the sport for the summer) and now they have added pretty much every entertainment / documentary channel but no box sets.
A couple of shows that only went for one season:
Rubicon
Terriers (great theme song)
Also add me to the list as a big fan of Friday Night Lights.
And one very obscure one. Keynotes hosted by Richard Wilkins
I've never seen it but it was adapted for the screen by Jan Sardi who was my Geography teacher in year 7. I just thought I'd say that because it makes me sound young.
My daughter and I set up an account specifically for shows that display live tweets. We just wanted to appear on TV. I just write something inane and hope for the best.
Best result so far was the Brownlow red carpet on Seven.
Do you think it's called X factor Australia because it's made in Australia?
How did you feel about that Welsh shiela who was Prime Minister of Australia?
I followed that link and a couple more until I came across a podcast called How did this get made?
It's Paul Scheer (Andre) with a couple of others including Rafi talking about bad movies, Over the Top, Gymkata and most recently Crocodile Dundee in LA. Worth a listen.
Broadchurch on ITV was a good whodunit. Young boy killed in a small town. David Tennant as the cop who is brought in to investigate and Olivia Coleman as his partner who lives in the community.

Another Scandinavian show being remade.
The Fall is currently running on the BBC. Good show. Didn't recognise that guy from Once Upon A Time at first, and as it's made in Northern Ireland there's a few Game of Thrones actors in there as well. Notably Roose Bolton.
