I don't understand what's so humorous about bargaining with a club over a talented player?
At the time the RW was traded, he'd never had more than 16 hitouts in a match.
In only his second year of AFL footy Jacobs averaged 22, and had a 44 hit out match against Mumford in the Elimination...
This is true, but at the time when Warnock was traded he was a relative unknown. He was yet to perform or perform consistently at AFL level, however he gave the impression he would develop into a quality player due to his height and athleticism among other things.
Jacobs is arguably more of a...
In terms of an inside source....no.
We have said we'll take best available. And personally, I'm more than happy with Jamison, Bower and Austin being a key part of improving defence. Throw in Waite, O'Hailpin and Thornton, for me a key defender isn't on the top of our needs list. Up forward, an...
Wow, wait a minute....
Two questions, they are showing the entire first round, not just the top 10, yeah?
And what is going to be shown while the picks come up on the bottom of the screen? Just regular FOX sports shows? Or is it at least draft related?
Hmm, that was four questions, not two.
This thread could do with a chop-out. Here is some real, late mail (according to the AFL website)

Had a dream last night that we traded Hampson to Port, who traded Ebert to West Coast, who traded McKinley to Carlton.
For a dream, that´s not too bad! Better than some of the proposed trades you see on BF.
He did too. He 'confirmed' that Warnock decided against Carlton and wanted to go to Melbourne.

I know it's kinda frowned upon to talk up or even ask about a player when he is your mate on here, but I noticed that Josh Cowan was named on a wing which is a great effort.
Since the U/12s, I've watched him dominate at a low level of footy, and have only seen him play once at the higher level...
That's a fair enough call, although given his talent he should have been in All-Australian contention for several years now. Unfortunately he was burned out as a young ruckman for Collingwood as Alpha1 was alluding to, and young Kreuzer certainly would not want play for 10 years before finally...
Looking forward to watching all of these athletic talls.
Recently, there have not been many genuine gun CHBs, but I think there might be a few come from this draft, and I'll be looking forward to seeing who makes it from that group and who doesn't.
Sorry I wasn't all that clear. I know that Hurley is big by under 18s standards, but I doubt that he'd jump straight into a key position role at Carlton.
My point was that people believe we need key defenders, where I believe that we need to put time into our young defenders, Jamison, Bower...
If he plays at CHF he is, we don't need another skinny 18 yr old key defender.
Having said that, I'll be happy to take him if he is deemed best available.
