I know it's kinda frowned upon to talk up or even ask about a player when he is your mate on here, but I noticed that Josh Cowan was named on a wing which is a great effort. Since the U/12s, I've watched him dominate at a low level of footy, and have only seen him play once at the higher level...

That's a fair enough call, although given his talent he should have been in All-Australian contention for several years now. Unfortunately he was burned out as a young ruckman for Collingwood as Alpha1 was alluding to, and young Kreuzer certainly would not want play for 10 years before finally...

Sorry I wasn't all that clear. I know that Hurley is big by under 18s standards, but I doubt that he'd jump straight into a key position role at Carlton. My point was that people believe we need key defenders, where I believe that we need to put time into our young defenders, Jamison, Bower...

If he plays at CHF he is, we don't need another skinny 18 yr old key defender. Having said that, I'll be happy to take him if he is deemed best available.

I wouldn't rule him out at Carlton, could be a bit of a surprise pick. I like Hurley, but I think he is far from locked at the Blues.
