Same commentary quality when the Eagles were playing well.
Now we have the media sinking in the boot after years of being made sound silly.
Not many teams looked after more than Collingwood by commentators or umpires.
Every now and again you get a couple of rough calls and someone screems...
100% correct.
Bit of a lol reading Pies fans complaining about bias commentators and umpiring.
Try being a supporter of an interstate club putting up with Eddie commenting at Pies games, Dermott commenting at Hawks games etc.
And you guys get plenty of home town free kicks. They happen like...
Any of their supporters who are trolling are immature losers. Just bitter that their club isnt as good as Collingwood.
Pies have won over alot of neutral supporters this season, I was hoping for a Pies Cats GF.
Anyway congrats on a great season.:thumbsu:
It seems the Pies have a good problem that they may not have the list spots to re-sign some promising fringe players.
Will Josh Carmichael get an extension?
Eagles were keen on him in the MSD and is only 23, showed a bit.
Regarding any players coming in this year the Pies will be restricted simply because they have few picks to trade with. So a player like Naish who costs nothing would come up in discussions as would free agents. This year more so than usual. Matt Crouch, Chol, Hewett.
Any updates on Ruscoe...
Just popping in to say well played and well done yesterday. Pies embarrassed the Eagles with their work ethic, run, carry and dare to take the game on. Some good signs from your kids as well.
Harvey coached really well, exact game plan to beat the predictable Eagles.
Enjoy. :thumbsu: :'(
I understand the word used in the report was systemic NOT systematic as you believe above.
Similar words, very different meanings. Link below explains better than I could:

Congrats Pies fans. Great win when very, very few gave you a chance.
I was saying during the week to Pie fans the Eagles can be beaten.
Anyway enjoy the win and knock out the Cats next week. :thumbsu:
But the Eagles don't want him to go and they need quality small forwards. That's why he is under contract until 2022.
Why would they trade him out for a mid 2nd that will slide into the mid 30's?
So IF Cameron asked for a trade it will need to be for more than the pick they drafted him with...
Yep, and that's the exact look you will get from the Eagles if you tried to poach him and pay unders.
If you want a quality developing small and he's under contact you will need to pay overs. That how it is.
Cameron is contracted for two more years out to 2022.
His output has been lower this year due to a groin injury in preseason and he didn't really have one. Then with the delayed start to the season he did a bit of a mini preseason and played 3-4 games early in the QLD hub. He was obviously...
Just dropping in to say IMO the Pies killed the draft with your choices, especially with the picks you had.
Rantall with a bit of work on his kicking is a Pendlebury replacement in a couple of years.
Bianco was a steal and a Sidebottom replacement.
And Ruscoe. I was really keen on him for...
Eagles Pies games in Melbourne are normally close, under 4 goals except for last time.:D
Bodes well for a decent GF.:thumbsu:
Lucky for that MCG contract.......it means all the rioting after next week' loss will stay in Melbourne.:p
Mate I said with respect.
Thats not bitching, its basically pointing out you are over valuing a player who has depression and and inconsistent form. Im not making that up am I?
Is Fasolo worth a first round pick? Because thats the starting point in any trade for a top line forward.
Happy...
I know that this is your board but with respect Fasolo with depression and inconsistent form would be the steak knives in Ny trade for Darling.
Forwards like Darling dont grow on trees and for a player who has yet to play to his full potential he has had several seasons consistantly kicking 40...
If Gaff and Darling were on the table would the Pies be interested and what would be reasonable?
Its obvious the pressure is on to make finals next season and 18 yr olds take time to make an impact.
Na, just that he's fit, been involved in most sessions, looks like he's settling in. As opposed to he has done a calf and remains on a restricted program and likely won't be available early on.
Oooo, that hurt. Really cutting comment there. Really clever stuff.:D
Second best side in WA and second on the ladder to boot. Not complaining at all actually. Start of the year no one had us in the eight never mind second with 12 wins and 3 losses at the end of the year. I'm sure we will...
