Of course we can, any top 4 team can if they don't play well enough.
My assertion that we won't go out in straight sets is more a probability call based on our form and consistency over the last couple of months. The lack of injuries at this stage of the year is also very positive.
I...
I honestly think losing to Bulldogs and dropping to fourth is the best way for us to make the GF.
Playing St Kilda in week one of the finals means that we will most likely play either of Geelong or Bulldogs in the preliminary final.
Even if we lose this week we are playing too well to go...
Check out this hit Sav copped...

... was an illegal hit though and the bloke was fined and suspended.
In an interview after the game he said, "If that's all he's got, I feel sorry for him."
Completely agree.
Didak was on his last chance, this is the difference. Twice in two years he has deceived the club about drunken incidents involving the police. Selfish dishonesty is something that cannot be tolerated at a footy club.
I'd guarantee Heath is on his last chance now too.
I think Heath has learned his lesson, so I wouldn't want the club to trade him.
Not much worse you can do at a footy club than lie to the police then attempt to cover it up by lying to players, leadership group, club adminstration and board members.
Footy clubs are built on trust and making...
Is this a pisstake?
We are expected to financially subsidise a young bloke earning hundreds of thousands a year because he was caught drink driving?
Nah, this must be a pisstake... nobody would be that stupid.
The issue wasn't so much the drinking as lying to the players, leadership group, and club administration to save his own arse.
It is easy to be contrite and make false promises after you are caught, but Didak showed a real lack of character and spine not informing the club straight away...
Re: Didak's plea to pies
Nope.
Didak has outright lied to the club twice now and should definitely be let go with our first round pick if we can secure Kerr.
We have enough talent up forward to cover for Didak, and Kerr is one of the best mids playing the game today. We need a bloke of his...
Re: Didak's plea to pies
Blah, blah, blah... Didak crying wolf again.
Don't need the dishonest likes of him around the club.
Trade Didak and our first round pick for Kerr. Both sides win.
I think his best is behind him now... and the way he plays the game his body will pack it up 2-3 years into his next deal.
This is not the sort of player we need right now... Kerr should be priority one, two and three if the club is serious.
If I didn't know better I would have thought they were a bottom four side tanking for draft picks yesterday.
Simply cannot believe the lack of intensity and blatantly lethargic way we played the game yesterday. Most of the players looked completely disinterested and had a very poor work rate...
He's contracted to Se7en for 2009... doubt very much he will break his contract.
Maybe doing a bit of part time work down there, potentially with a view to full time assistant role in 2010.
State of the art facilities and a quality list playing finals regularly would be a great way to fine...
Rocca is no certainty to play against WC tomorrow, is Reid next in line to come into the squad.
He was atrocious last outing, would like to see him redeem himself and play well... assuming Pebs doesn't come up.
Don't know why, but I've got a bad feeling about Saturday's game against WC.
We peak for big games very well, but the thing that has dogged us the last couple of years is our performance in lesser games we are expected to win in a canter.
Hopefully the guys don't become complacent and come...
I respect your right to an opinion, but you must understand that opinions based on ignorance and stupidity are worth less than the bog roll I wiped my arse on this morning.
Family come first. Always. No exceptions. Ever.
Playing footy means nothing compared to issues of family health and doing what is right for their family.
What a ridiculous thread.
We can handle the defensive flood, it is the midfield flood we are really struggling with.
Seems to be a new trend emerging this season, have seen most teams doing it. Some of the camera angles on the weekend showed 30+ players through the middle of the ground. As the team chips the ball...
