Sorry, I was thinking of the worst combined win-loss record for an entire division.
I seem to remember the NFC South going something like 22-42 a decade ago, but just wondering if another division have combined for worse.
Falcons on top in the NFC South.
WOOHOO!!
Serious question:
What is the record for the worst division in the history of the NFL, and are we are chance of beating it?
Arthur Smith appears to be doing a bang-up job this season.
‘Embarrassing’: The NFL’s most ‘painful to watch’ coach keeps making the same, obvious mistake
Two wins from two games is a great way to start the season.
Robinson looks like a star in the making, and the Riddler has looked good, although a little inconsistant at times.
Frustrating season to date, I think we have been in every game, except for one, but have only won five of twelve. We have no trouble scoring points, but we having real issues stopping our opponents from scoring.
And despite all our deficiencies, we are only half a game behind the Bucs and...
I though we were supposed to be sh!t this season, but so far we have been competitive in every game and won half of them. Although, six games in and I’ve noticed that the entire NFC is sh!t, so perhaps there are different levels of sh!tiness this season and our sh!t doesn’t stink as much as others.
There hasn't been much positivity in Falconsland to talk about and I can't really get agro and demand the sacking of our coach because that has already been done.
Also, when were Falcons successful enough that people would want to join the Falcons bandwagon?
So. The Falcons are crap again this season. What a shock. We have one really good season every 20 years or so and sneak into a Superbowl then fade away into mediorcrity again.
See you 2038. :(
THAT Superbowl loss is still ******* with their heads.
I think we need to get rid of Quinn, not because he is doing a bad job, but because we need a new voice and game plan. We have the talent to compete with the best teams, I hope change will give the players the confidence to return to the...
Are we really as crap as last weekend's scoreline suggests??
Surely with the quality of players on our roster we will finish ahead of Carolina and Tampa. :(
Damn it! I forgot to include Tak exploding in his third year with 12 sacks.
Also JJ cements his all-time great status with record breaking season in receptions, total yards and touchdowns.
HAPPY.:D:D
As a Falcons fan it would have been the second worst outcome imaginable if the Saints were to play in this year's Superbowl.
The only thing worse would be them winning it.
Thanks LA.:)
Five Metres!!
The third time since the arrival of Matt Ryan that the Falcons have fallen short by a about five metres.
His legacy could have been very different if it wasn't for about five metres.:(
Or the Bucs.
My prediction for season 2018, the NFC South will be stronger than 2017, and will probably result in each team "bashing" each other out of the Superbowl.:(
Of course, it’s way too early to predict all the season results, but I don’t think it is too early to predict which teams will be good and which won’t.
But then it’s preseason and surely some people can have a little fun without being hounded down by those have lost their sense of humour...
You seemed fairly insightful and then you stuffed up the CF’s. Packers won’t beat the Falcons. Not this season anyway.
And the Chargers won’t get close.
The Falcons road to Atlanta should be fairly simple (they don't even have to catch a bus. :D) but that looks like a pretty tough draw, except for maybe the Browns and Giants.
If we won't play in our hometown Superbowl, then these are the teams we must beat. The Falcons Schedule for 2018.
I hope the Giants and Browns are still easybeats because there ain't too many easy games in that draw.
The majority of our defence is made up of rookies, second and third year players, it's going to improve in coming seasons.
We are looking very good for the future.
Happy with the Falcons performance, defensively it's probably the best they have looked in twenty years, offensively we getting closer to last year.
I think we are a real chance against Philly.
