So a new alias is basically a free pass, assuming a brief period of flying under the radar and using a different IP address. Just maybe there is achance that permanently banned obnoxious posters don't change their spots.

Can the mods clarify if there is an official BF policy on the return of permanently banned posters under a different alias? Is this something you guys look for... and if so what is the outcome when it becomes glaringly obvious? Does a different alias exonerate them from past indescretions that...

If the main purpose of this board is to talk about fashion trends, men, cosmetics, perfume, clothes, etc... then it should be open to homosexuals as well as women. Excluding gay men would be sexist and discriminatory. A good name for it could be Hags and ****?

You do realise you've created the board at the beginning of the cycling off season. With the exception of the Tour Down Under the cycling season won't ramp up again March next year. As long as you take that into account when assessing traffic volumes through the board between now and then.

I've also notice a significant lag in site performance post the changes.

Why the ambiguity? Some mods may allow its use in a certain context and others may not. People still get the drift whether asterix are substituted or not. In a way comments can be funnier when swear filter is activated... bit like difference between South Park TV and movie.
