The Sydney Swans have made a shock selection in the 2008 NAB AFL Draft. They have drafted Small Forward Phillip Hopwood at pick number 13. Experts were tipping him to go 3rd round but the Swan took a chance. But will it pay off?

Phillip did not have a great NAB Cup. Only scoring 1 goal in the forward pocket and a possesion high of 11. The Swans coaching staff has said that they will keep the faith in him but if he has 2-4 games without a goal they will drop him.
