Check the link out. Some guy in Canada got his car stolen, and posted as much on his forum (a canadian car forum). Anyways, another forum member found the guy from the car photo's, photgraphed the thief, and then ohter forum members tracked him down and found ALL his details via facebook. Forum members were getting together at 3 in the mourning and all driving to the guys house. This is classic stuff:D and it's all happened in the last couple of days.
 
Reminds me of that guy who sold some dodgy car parts to someone else on some car forum. The seller refused to give the buyer his money back, or to give him the proper parts. The forum members blasted him, he started acting like a hero, you know, typical internet stuff. Anyway, they got his IP address from the forum, and were then able to access all his personal information; name, age, address, college, family - just about everything. They pretty much made his life a living hell. This story gained worldwide publicity, I think it was even posted on BigFooty. Some people threatened to go to his house, and so on, until the guy caved in and gave a refund.

Why don't we on BigFooty do something like that.

We should be out there making a difference to the world, helping the community... :rolleyes:
 
By now the thief's girlfriend's mother (phew!) has come onto the forum to defend her daughter, and is copping a pasting, LOL:D

Sex offender one wasn't that amusing, it was all over too fast really.

Read the whole Claw stolen skyline one last night and today, it got 15 pages longer in teh meantime, quality :thumbsu:, Gotten quite s**t now though.

The guy who spammed another car site and was exposed as a registered sex offender when he denied spamming (even though his forum PROFILE had the URL of the spammed gambling site with a note to "come and visit my site")
