Big danger game for Port. Freo will be fuming after their loss, and have a midfield and defence that can take it up to Port. Losing Fredericks and Swit will be massive though, so the question will be whether they can get enough score on the board.

Port have had too much positive media this week around the midfield, I hope they don't get complacent.

I feel a Freo by 20 odd points win coming.

will be a good clash in the middle, potentially have darcy back and jackson has been getting pushed around a bit in the ruck the past few games so gives us a chance to get a more favourable match up for him.

pearce i think should be able to keep dixon quiet, finlayson potentially out? so perhaps MG gets draper, good test for a couple youngsters. i think it will come down to if we can curtail your drive off half back with switta and freddy out, they bring a lot of pressure and if we allow houston, burton etc to drive it out it could get bad for us.

expect a bit of biff between serong and butters couple of hot heads, should be a good game

A couple of important injuries to our forwardline and the team mentally shot by the result last week. Port by 100

If Freo punish Ports midfielders lack of defensive running, then they should win. However last week it did look like the Freo players lost fine motor skills when the ball got within 65 metres of the goals.

Probs other way round

Looking forward to seeing how SPP goes. I think Port are too strong for Freo. The Dockers should show some spark after last week but I think this year Port will turn a corner and really start to make a serious claim upon the prize.

Either close or a rude awakening for Freo I reckon. If Port start quick and skills get through our pressure, it will be a long day. If we get them a bit fumbly and win the centre clearance battle we're a chance.
