What a blow, he was the definitive voice of Batman for 30 years in the DC animated universe. Also a very nice person by all reports.
Kevin Conroy, who voice starred in the acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series, has died after a battle with cancer.
He was 66.
“Very sad news: our beloved voice of Batman, Kevin Conroy, died yesterday,” Diane Pershing, a fellow voice actress and series colleague, wrote on Facebook.
He’s been ill for a while but he really put in a lot of time at the (conventions), to the joy of all of his fans.
“He will be sorely missed not just by the cast of the series but by his legion of fans all over the world.”
