Well, with that sort of result, its easy to see why the Allies were late showing up.

Great knock from Stucey there, and Hawkfan certainly sunk the boot in with a few boundaries, but it was well set up by our excellent attack.

Personally, I'm pretty happy with 55 from 53 balls. Good enough knock you reckon GOALden?

Under fire Allies captain TheMase ducked the post match media grilling & sent out vice captain Dipper to meet the onslaught.

Journalist-'Dipper do you think that theMase's position as 1 day captain of this club is now untenable, you have the strongest squad in the competition, you're competitive in the Test arena but you can't buy a win at the moment in the 1 day game?'

Dipper-'No his position isn't untenable but I know he'll want to do whatever is in the best interests of the club, more than anything the bloke is a team man.'

Dipper-'Mate I would be as proud as anything to captain this club at any level, but I'm not after the job, Masey has always had my full backing.Look I knew he was under pressure in this match & so did he, he went out & got another duck which shows his confidence is low in the shorter game at the moment, he can't buy a run at present but look at my performance I went out & gave my all for him & for the club I took 2/40 off my 10 overs & if every bowler had done that we'd have won.If I'd been looking for him to fail then I'd have bowled a load of crap but that's not my way I stick by my mates & give my best at all times.

Dipper-'Honestly?.....yes I do, I think the perfect scenario would be for me to take over as 1 day captain for the next 3-5 matches, see how it goes & with the pressure off of him I reckon Masey's 1 day form will improve & then we can reasses things & decide if it is better for the club for me to continue or for Masey to take over the reighns again'

Dipper-I don't see why not, i was happy to play under him when he took over the captaincy even though my name was in the frame.I've nevr given him anything less than total support & I know he's big enough to do the same for me.At the end of the day Masey wants what i want & that's the Allies Cricket club to dominate at both Test & 1 day level.'
