Walsh was never going to be the mercurial. He always projected as having an incredibly high "floor". 

On any given week, one or two of those guys will be better than Walsh but not all.  But every week it'll be someone else, while he'll never drop out of the conversation. The names around him will change as their form peaks and troughs.
