Pie 4 Life
Hall of Famer
November 2011:
A board of 24 members meet about the possibility of a national women's league. They are varied from different socio-economic backgrounds and different states. By the end of the meeting, they agree that there is enough support and foundation to start their own league.
It is arranged there will be twelve teams from around Australia competing for the prized FAFL Premiership. They are looking for various clubs and districts to put in their submission to be a part of the inaugural league. They are aiming for teams from Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland and a team from Tasmania.

December 2011:
Peter Williams is initiated commissioner of the new Female Australian Football League (FAFL). He is looking for several potential submissions to the league for new clubs. Each club must stake their claim by stating the following:
Team Name: Must be relevant and suitable (Not the Super Wonderdogs or something) and usually mention a place name such as the current AFL Teams
Inaugural Coach: Can be male or female (Can't be a current AFL Coach)
Reasons for submission: This must include things such as the support from the community (community must be large enough to support a national side), reasons behind wanting a team in that area, and logos or Guernseys needed if required.
The league will name at least six teams, with six other spots still up for grabs. If CEO's are not founded then the league shall fill the remaining spots. Alternatively, if the interest is profound, posters may elect to take control of one of the previously league owned sides.
This is real and will no doubt be the beginning of something big. Let the games begin
