Two seasons, two matches between the Gumbies & Furies leave the Gumbies on the cusp of finals, surpassed by another side as the loss proves pivotal. An insipid performance by the Gumbies away, wotdoiput drawing 32pos from the ruck, Covvy 22 & 1 goal from the midfield, similar to A Flying Pube 22 & 2.1 with winty 3.2 the main scorer. Home is where the heart is, and the Gumbies will need to find it if they wish to compete, as their old guard let them down heavily against the Wonders.

The Furies looked good until Filthy gave the half time meal and the Demons coasted home 8 goals to 4 in the second half, what the Furies lacked in top line talent they had in spread as several pushed to give that baby a fighting chance with hougie 2.1, Filthy Sanchez 3.1 rfctigerarmy 2.1 & Nuffers providing a bulk of that effort and the Furies scoreboard pressure.

Verdict
Can’t go past the Furies after last week as 2 quarters is vastly superior to none, and a club that lacks heart simply won’t go anywhere fast. Furies by 35.
