White Europeans are the tallest race in the world. Just because all NBA players are tall doesn't mean all black people are. The tallest country on average in the world is the Netherlands, followed by Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Austria etc.

Josh Gibson
Harry O
Zac Clarke
Tendia Mzungu

Are all of African descent and none of them seem to struggle with learning the game. Majak Daw didn't pick the game up until later in life than most. That's why he struggles, not because of his genetics.

Harry O struggles.

Short players like Steven Morris and Paul Puopolo shouldn't be allowed to play AFL because they're short people who are only there to get free kicks from high tackles and players falling into their back because they haven't seen them/ignored them because they're manlets

My opinion that is unpopular (with the AFL Media pack anyway) is that you should tell the truth about Australian Football history.
Rather than simply re-printing press releases from AFL head office, journalists should re-discover the ability to research and judge on evidence.

That way for a start we wouldn't be having this nonsense about Malthouse breaking McHale's record in Rnd 5 in 2015, when it should be recognised in Rnd 4. McHale missed the 1930 GF so his figure at most is 713, not the 714 the AFL falsely continues to list.

The AFL Season Guide (and therefore probably the official Media Guide too) are riddled with factual error far beyond just the McHale one, but point out errors to 21st C journalists (with evidence in support of your statement) and they'll ignore you because it is easier than rocking the boat from whence they are spoon-fed articles already half-written for them.

Europe is so blended that it's ridiculous to call them a race. Furthermore, one of the major reasons (if not the major reason) Dutch people are taller than African people due to diet and nutrition.

I think the AFL should announce that in two years they will eliminate handouts and equalization.

Many clubs will have to merge or move (maybe my own) to survive.

The comp needs a major flushing out after a decade or more of AD's indulgences.

You idiot, if you are going to have some pathetic complaint, at least make sure it is right. McHale was never credited as the Premiership coach in 1930. He sits on 713 games as a coach, not 714.

Steady on !
You and I know the correct figure is 713, but the AFL still officially claims it to be 714.

For example, the 2014 AFL Record Season Guide includes the following:
Collingwood premierships listed on page 91 with 1930 coach shown as Jock McHale
Hall of Fame Legends - page 628 - Jock McHale listed as 714 games & premierships include 1930
season by season scores - 1930 on page 889 GF team lists include McHale as coach on that day
..there are other pages too, but the above is enough to expose them don't you think.

...and articles on the official AFL website maintain the falsehood as recently as three days ago:

Didn't Sheedy make sure in advance that he'd be officially credited with the game where Gary O'Donnell stood in for him?

Mmm..I'd forgotten about that. If Sheedy wasn't even at the ground then no he shouldn't be credited with the game.
Perhaps he sat in the box with Gary who was the one who went out onto field at 1/4 & 3/4 time. Will try and find press reports of the time.

Adam Goodes is a champion footballer, among the best 'utility' players of the modern era, and his consistency across such a long career has been incredible. He has also been a great role model on and of the field for indigenous Australians. Goes about his business like a statesmen, despite thousands of closet racists booing him each week (but it's just for 'staging', of course). Deserved Australian of the Year.
