After countless hours of Science and remote Capybara observational studies, it's been brought to my attention that the Las Vegas Bears can still make the finals.
If you could all please direct your attention to the ladder:
One can conclude that 2 wins and 10 losses is why the Bears are currently sitting on the bottom of the ladder. However, given the structure of the finals series this year allows 8 teams to potentially progress through to the event known as "Super Festivus + Cup," we still have a chance to salvage our maiden season. Las Vegas plays the Wonders this week. According to varied astrological planet alignments, they are currently just above the Bears on the ladder. It's been suggested that the Bears should really try and win this game by a great margin. Not only increasing their percentage, but also elevating them from the last spot on the ladder (colloquially known as the "Wooden Spooners").
In the early 1900's spoons were actually 300% larger. They also possessed characteristics commonly found in both oars and spoons.
Should the Wonders lose this week, the Bears will need to keep honouring their various Aztec gods in the hope that the Swamprats, Royals and Hawks all manage to lose the next 5 games allowing Las Vegas to majestically ascend the ladder into the top 8. For now though, the SFA can only wait and ask itself, does pantskyle have the intestinal fortitude to lead his troops on a successful run home? Or will there be further calls for Juggalo Balla to re-record Milli Vanilli's timeless classic, Blame it on the Rain?
Time will tell.
