Having watched the board in recent times, I have come to a stunning conclusion.
We now have a new law of internet discussion to add to Godwin's Law and Poe's Law. It reads as follows.
"As any discussion thread on the Collingwood Bigfooty board grows longer, the probability of it coming down to a Malthouse versus Buckley slapfest approaches 1. That is, sooner or later, any Collingwood topic, if discussed long enough, becomes another opportunity to rehash the comparison of MM and Buckley and the thread will be effectively derailed."
In infinite modesty, which depending on your affiliation you can liken either to Mick or Bucks, I have named it Reykjavik's law.
I await internet immortality. Or someone proving me wrong. Both are equally desirable as far as I'm concerned.
