GREATER Western Sydney appears determined to maintain the rage against the Western Bulldogs, taking the animosity between the two clubs to a provocative new level on social media.

In a tweet to its 26,000 followers, the official GWS account posted a picture of former Bulldogs Leon Cameron, Ryan Griffen and Callan Ward, touting them as 'lost dogs' and using the hashtag #belessbulldog.

Bay13 trolls on official club twitters is pretty stupid..

Whoever controls Adelaide's 'Official' twitter made some smart remarks about Port Adelaide going to Dubai for heat training last pre-season while pointing out it was hotter in Adelaide....

Now Walsh has said he wants to take the Crows there next pre-season...

Then there was the stuff about Port Magpies not being Port Adelaide in the lead up to the SANFL GF...

painfully juvenile stuff -

I think GWS are trying to be relevant by poking the hornets nest a bit and stir up a bit of controversy to get people to watch their games against the Bullies. Not really a bad idea, although it could blow up in their face pretty significantly.

I think Adelaide's social media person has had a bit of a talking to after that heat comment (heard along the grape vine from a couple Adelaide mates, haha). It was obviously good natured but if any FB page comments (or bigfooty for that matter) are to go by, people on both sides of the fence get really vicious over dumb s**t like the SA rivalry.

I just actually hate this kind of s**t...

twitter / facebook - 'social engagement' or whatever the f*ck - It's just a whole lot of tit-for-tat school yard s**t, and nothing that football clubs should be engaging in - - They say there is problems with online 'trolls', but we continually feed it

Leave the pot stirring for the mid-week press conferences if you're that way inclined..
