I'm up at Surfers this weekend no last night while dinner I saw Scott McLaughlin, Alex Premat, Todd and Rick Kelly and their two co drivers Alex Buncombe and David Russell. We also think that we might of seen Adrian Burgess and Ryan Walkinshaw but that was from afar so we weren't sure if it was them or not.

Yet another year, yet another poorly designed chicane at surfers, seriously just put a tire bundle there..
Is there a story behind not putting the tire bundle there as it has always confused me.

KERB hopping penalties have been the order of the day in the second V8 Supercars practice session at the Gold Coast 600, as drivers continued to find the limits over the track’s trademark chicanes.

The timing screens were bathed in yellow as the co-drivers took to the circuit for the second session, with pilots being penalised left, right and centre for using too much of the kerbs at the circuit’s two chicanes.

All up, ten co-drivers were served with a one-minute penalty in the pits for cutting the kerbs more than three times, adding to the five ‘kerb hopping’ penalties racked up by the regular drivers in the opening session.
