I wonder what comment Albert will make, oh that's right, he is conveniently out of the country again.
ok, well if we're being objective, as an Essendon member I better be damn sure that every cent of the cost of this appeal comes directly out of the Hird's finances and not a cent of member or club money pays for this.
no wayI have been suspicious that the club endorsed and silently backed this court action to both appease the industry and their own interests.
I know they are a spineless club, but surely they're not that ruled by King Jimmy are they?Essendon fans better grow some balls and insist that Hird pay all the costs associated with this appeal. Don't let Essendon fork out for costs incurred against the club's wishes.
He could appeal to God but that would be a conflict of interestJeez..... Hird must really hold some sway given that Palpatine dissolved the Senate a long time ago.
Maybe James will appeal to the Regional Governor instead....??

Does anyone really think Hird would have done this risking his own money? Nothing he has done to date, ie. exonerate me at all costs, indicates that is a likely scenario.
I opt out of that oneAnd then pay the extra $50 donation on your membership.
Yep.What happened ??? Was he laughed out of court again ???
It's amazing isn't it. He's in the upper half of the field for salary, he doesn't want to be around for trade week, pre season training, still no proven coaching ability. What a narcissist.Over in the US on business? Thought he had a team to coach? Unlike him to put personal interest first
in all honesty, I can't see this being a tipping point. That point came and went when he made the decision to appeal. They decided he did in fact have the right to pursue his legal rights, or at least be seen to have the right. You have to wonder if this is the tipping point for Albert, will he coach EFC in 2015 ?
Good mates with HirdFrom Channel9 website
"with Chief Marketing Officer Justin Rodski the only representation from the club."
So the only Essendon person there was their Marketing man..... is that a bit strange? or just a coincidence that he was in the area at the time.
I was just thinking that Essendon supporters would at least be pleased that the club didn't follow him down the appeals road, surely it's time he paid something out of his own pocket so far he has done pretty well out of the disaster he helped to initiate.no way
I reckon there will be emails flying around ASADA trying to rake up every single receipt for anything at all involved in this appeal.Has there been any published estimate of ASADs costs that Hird has been ordered to pay?
