I love the fact that anytime we have a gun player coming out of contract they resign on a long term deal! Well done to the club for making an environment that our players want to stay in and Hanners is our most crucial midfielder! Wouldn't want him copping what Dangerfield has during mid season it would be a massive burden.

Cordy the only one to go with the extension until 2018. The rest are going with 2021.

Its a given he has re-signed with the club just wait for the club to say for how long - either 2 years or 5 years (with 5 years the most likely outcome)

Still great news either way and one less player to worry about for the 2015-2016 re-signing period

We only lose players we are happy to lose, players will retire, certain contracts have gone down (hello Tippett), the salary cap is going up year on year and the benefit of the trading ban/removal of COLA is that we can't trade in as we hoped so we'll have a pot available to re-sign players by the time Hanners extension kicks in.

Morons at other clubs will refuse to see this though their tears

So from reading opposition fans thoughts we seem to be paying goodes 2 million
Parker a mill
Mcveigh and jack nothing they just make 5 million from outside the club
Heck even marsh is on a few mill
