Selwood incident

Selwood is always involved in these grubby incidents.
Credit to Ling for telling it like it is.
Hopefully the good ole "potential to cause injury" clause comes into effect and he gets 4 down to 3.
Yep typical Selwood! OMG. He gets away with so much!

Absolutely filthy act. 100% intentional, potential to cause serious injury. Deserves to get 4 weeks like Judd.

Cyril Rioli gets away with this all the time, most notably in the Grand Final.

Not being an aboriginal excitement machine will probably work against Selwood though.

Looks nasty, will be sweating on the medical report.

Yeah, that's pretty much a kimura.

Like the 2013 GF where he got 2 weeks for it?
Safe to say he got away with it when he only got 2 weeks for something that should be 5+. Deliberate acts of inflicting injury are the lowest pig acts in the game, and should yield the most severe punishment.

You're even worse!
Does the truth hurt? Are your sjw valves fuming?

Getting away with something is getting suspended? o_O

Gotta say that the incident looks much worse in motion, it's much clearer that Wright is in a ton of pain at the bottom of the pack.

Ha ha ha!
Safe to say that's not what you meant at all when you posted, and were called out immediately for being fundamentally wrong.

Also, when he got two weeks, it really was only one because all sanctions in a grand final (one day for the doggies- maybe) are doubled. So.......
What you're saying is that Cyril should have gotten 5.... FIVE...... times what the MRP decided?
That's like me saying that yarran should have gotten 15 weeks for his hit in chapman. Ha ha! noice!
Let's forget all forms of process and logic behind punishments, let's get rid of the MRp and run all incidents by Seawinnd, he knows better!

"What's this incident worth Seawind?"

Seawind:

Was not as bad as Judd I thought. Sort of rolled over in the tackle and found the arm there so gave it a good workout.

He should get a week or two for it.

Anyone else think the North teammate running to remonstrate actually caused Wright more pain?

Captain Courageous is not really doing himself any favours with the dirty dog acts behind play in 2015.

He gave Ben Howlett's eyeball a nice bit of acu-pressure

Then he kicked Tom Jonas twice in the back of the head and followed that up with a slap in the back of the head

(1st kick @ 0:34, 2nd kick @ 0:35, slap in the head @ 0:47)

I suppose you can't blame him for acting like a knob every week.
The MRP have pretty much given him the green light to do whatever he wants.

Eye-gouging, kicking, jiu-jitsu… What next? Spitting? Head butting?

Wow! Another dog act from Geelong's sniping skipper.

Not sure if it was a replay from earlier in the game, but they just showed the aftermath of a tackle from Ben Jacobs
As they both went to get up, Selwood threw his arm back and belted Jacobs with a forearm in the back of the head

What a dirty prick.

(They showed this vision with 00:27 left to go in the game)

Over to you, MRP... Another Joel Selwood incident for them to ignore….
