Imagine being so passionate about the right to use homophobic slurs without repercussions that you visit another club's board just to make sure everyone knows about it.
Funny how a lot of people on here are pretty passionate about a bloke not being able to express how he is feeling emotionally.
Ths is the sort of stuff that needs to be encouraged, yet here the media are shitcanning a bloke for doing something he should be applauded for and encouraging others to do the same. He is on record as being immediately regretful and remorseful of his onfield remarks, recognising their inappropriateness and rightly so.
Many men should feel safe to vocalise their emotions and how they are feeling without ridicule and judgement and being manipulated out of context. I appreciate his honesty in his answer.
Yet here we still are as a society.
