In my (highly uneducated) opinion I would be quite deflated if we did not bid on not only bowes(GC) / perryman(GWS) / setterfield(GWS) but especially macraedie(GWS). Key defender is #1 need for mine. Surely GWS can't match 3 bids inside the top 5?

Getting rid of Barlow is a no brainer for me. Picked him on the back of freo saying he will be in the midfield + good NAB scores. He isn't playing in the midfield. It's not a question if he can churn out big numbers, everyone knows he can and will probably play midfield and dominate this w/e...

Also having a really solid season in League 1 it would have made sense to make the next jump up, has had some good games with them, still a long way to go in the season.

Leuy won't play 20 games. I understand going for value but for me it's always been about selecting solid, durable rucks. Has seen me avoid mumford, leuy, kreuzer and these types. Martin/Goldy all the way. Maric is a decent workhorse, blizcavs should be a good option too.

Listing Simon Black as 'recent' is a bit of a stretch.. Anyway watching keays' highlights he seems to have some handy acceleration. I'm more concerned about his footskills adapting to AFL level.
