Way out-there prediction: Chairman Dan to give a one-day only exemption from COVID lockdowns so that friends and families can celebrate two Victorian clubs playing in the Grannie. Back into lockdown the next day, but imagine what a boost it would give the community - and also to his numbers.

It would be a fairytale, for them, after 57 years, but not a patch on ours! But good on them. Of course I'll be barracking for the Dogs, but if the boys do their best, and the game is fairly umpired, I'm at peace with the Dees winning a flag. I remember the relief I felt in 2016. Go Dogs!
