We were never going to live up to the pre-Olympics expectations. Three medals is about where we are at, the AOC I think wanted 4. A gold would have been nice but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Torah Bright, Chumpy and Lydia were genuine gold medal chances. A couple of others were maybe sneaky chances like Morris but in an attempt to attract viewers Ten tried to ramp up the noise to 11 and chronically over rated our prospects.
Our three best chances were involved in events that are notoriously fluky and two of them are subject to the vagaries of a subjective points scoring system. Same number of medals as Vancouver without landing a gold so reasonable and far from a disaster.
For a country that has so little snow, and what we do have is crap compared to elsewhere, we do alright.
